T.O.K.Y.O - To Only Know Your Own

Well there you have it, now you finally know why I call myself T.O.K.Y.O. its an acronym meaning To.Only.Know.Your.Own. It’s a mantra that fuels everything I do: a reminder to stay true to your own dreams, passions, and goals—chasing them unapologetically, no matter the obstacles.

I am a self-taught visual artist, specializing in freelance music and lifestyle photography, with a deep-rooted love for natural light and authentic moments. Beyond still imagery, I bring stories to life through cinematic visuals and creative video production, capturing raw, unforgettable moments that resonate long after they're experienced.

My approach is more than just photography—it's about building real connections. Every individual, every artist, every subject I work with has a story worth telling. My mission is to immortalize their journey, their energy, and their essence—one click at a time.

Music has always been the heartbeat of my creativity. It inspires my vision and drives my ambition daily. Over the years, I’ve had the honor of photographing some of Jamaica’s most iconic musicians, international artists from Africa, and legendary hip hop artists in the U.S. Each shoot is an opportunity to break creative boundaries and capture the spirit of my subjects in a way that’s powerful, real, and unforgettable.

As I continue to grow, my next chapter is focused on mastering the craft of cinematography, with the goal of creating visual narratives that celebrate my culture, heritage, and roots. Every project I take on is a step toward elevating the art form, connecting people, and telling stories that matter.

Within the years of pursuing my career, I have worked with notable artistes like the Marley Brothers, Buju Banton, Vybz Kartel, Kakaba Pyramid, Spragga Benz, Sizzla, Chronixx, Jah9, Jesse Royal, Ab Soul, Nipsey Hussle ,Moss Def (Yasiin Bey), Talib Kweli, Davido, Mr. Eazi, Flavour, and many more
